It's July and that means...Non-Stop Racing Action!
From where I sit, Churchill Downs' quiet used to give way to the sounds of Late Modifieds thundering around Louisville Motor Speedway but alas, no more. So, to remedy that sitch we're posting a series of racecar recordings to satisfy the need for the sound of speed. First up is "Road America '98", a 36 minute slice of hot-rod heaven recorded in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin. Mmmmm doppler effect, combustion engines.
